IRHC stands for the Inter-Residence Hall Council, and is the main programming and governmental body of the residence halls. We coordinate many of the fun things that you do each year: Safehouse, Penny Wars, Frisbockey, Cocoa Shack, Room Decorating Competition, and dozens more.Most importantly, however, it's your voice in the halls. IRHC is the main contact between the housing administration and the residential body. Our main purpose is to represent you in everything we do.
So tell me more about the events you guys put on.
Our events vary from the extremely large Safehouse (a Halloween tradition in which houses decorate their hall for visitors from the community) to the much smaller UNO tournaments. While we do repeat many of the residents' favorites each year, we're always trying new things -- So if you think you've got an idea for something cool, shoot us an email.
I've got a complaint about the halls, what now?
Let us know! Unfortunately, none of us in IRHC can read minds, nor can we confront each resident to ask him or her what he or she thinks of the halls (we've got to go to class sometime!). So, that means it's up to you to let us know what you're thinking. Whether you don't like the toilet paper, want the dining hall to serve curly fries everyday, or have a much larger concern, please send us an email or come to one of our meetings. It's your home, you have the power to make the change, just speak up!
This sounds pretty cool, can I actually help out with some of this stuff?
Of course! We love seeing new faces in our group. Whether you're interested in changing Housing policies, want to work on your favorite event, have an idea for a new event, or are just looking to have a little bit of fun come to one of our meetings.

Yep! There are plenty of ways to get information. This website contains an updated news feed and list of events, as well as other information you may find useful -- just browse around. If you still have questions though, you can contact us by phone, email, or a visit during office hours.
